Student OrganizationsAn essential part of the Cornell experience is to get involved with clubs and organizations. There are organizations that will fit what you are interested in. There is AISES and NASAC available for undergraduates, in addition to NALSA and CCAIGPS for graduates or professional studies. What ever catches your interest, one or a combination of these great associations will be here for you to utilize during your time here at Cornell University and as an alumni. Organization SummariesAISES: nurtures building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values. CCAIGPS: serves as a forum for graduate students to discuss cultural social, political, and educational concerns and to network with other Native students and organizations. NALSA: seeks to raise awareness in the Cornell community of legal issues affecting North American Indian nations and to bring speakers to campus whom are experts in these issues. NASAC: provides a forum for students to discuss issues that concern them as Native peoples. The organization also promotes awareness of Native cultures and issues on campus and in the community through political, cultural, and social events. © American Indian Program - Cornell University |
